Diner Dash has Flo and Delicious has Emily! If you're prepared to serve up some delectable dishes to your customers, expanding your menu, and customizing your restaurant as you see fit, then it's time to dive back into the food service industry and help Emily's Uncle Antonio as he struggles to meet his financial needs. In order to get the family finances back in order, Antonio has asked Emily to lend her expertise and savvy to turn his eateries into money-making machines!
Business has been slow and it's up to you to help Antonio transform what look like deserted towns into cafes that are abuzz with hungry customers! Take their orders, prepare the food, and collect those tips for a job well done. With jazzy graphics and unique locals, Delicious 2 is a meal you won't soon forget.
Something Savory or Something Sweet?
Each establishment that you run for Uncle Antonio has a distinctly different atmosphere, menu, and feel. For example, you start out in the city park with simple summer fare. Children will approach you for an ice cream cone, teens will swing by for a quick hot dog, and seniors may request a delicious milkshake. Some of these items require just a single click -- like popping open a soda bottle -- whereas others may require more than one step. For example, to get an ice cream cone ready for an anxious child, you'll have to first click on an empty cone and then on the ice cream of the kid's choosing.
The menu choices will begin to expand as word gets out about how great your eatery has become. Customers will storm the place in droves, demanding the most expedient service, the most satisfying food, and maybe even some music to keep their spirits up along the way! Whether it be some ice cream or a hot dog, you better do your job well or they'll leave upset and drive profits to the basement. Don't let that happen! Upward and onward! And don't forget to smile!
One Intense Juggling Act
As you can probably imagine, taking care of several customers at the same time can be quite the challenge. You may have one guest deciding on what to order at the counter, another waiting to pay, and two or three tables waiting for their food or perhaps for you to clear their setting. They all want to be served in the most expedient of manners, but you only have two hands and two feet!
A great way to handle this intense juggling act is to plan several moves in advance and actually click on these tasks ahead of time. For example, you can click on the customer and then the cash register while you are preparing the items that they ordered. This way, you will dart in their direction immediately after making that milkshake and no time is wasted. You can typically click at least three or four items in advance, so plan wisely.
Another nifty feature is the addition of staff and friends who can help you run the restaurants and eateries. One may help you clear tables so that you can focus on creating world class food (and collecting all that cash). You still have to tell your helper where to go, but it certainly helps to have a couple extra hands around. Talk about taking some weight off your shoulders.
Seriously Satisfying
All this intensity and multi-tasking is already pretty fun on its own, but guess what? You actually get rewarded for your hard work. Depending on whether you meet the minimum goal or the expert goal for the day, you will be given a certain amount of money to spend on upgrades. These can be new tables, new equipment, or maybe just some decorations to make for a better look place. Customize to your liking!
