Back on American Soil

Whereas you had the opportunity to travel all around the globe for various farming exploits in Farm Frenzy 3, it is good to get back to the land of the free and the home of the brave in this American Pie variant. Don't worry: the fantastic farm management simulation is just as great as it has always been.

Sticking to the United States, you have the opportunity to build up a number of different farms, raking in the dough and making steady progress toward your ultimate success. The quirky graphics and animations will certainly keep you amused, but don't get too distracted! The action requires you constant and immediate attention!

Gobbling Up the Turkey Eggs

As before, quick clicks are the name of the game. In the early stages, you will only need to manage a small number of animals, but this will quickly grow into a full-blown farming operation.

Rather than harvesting the eggs of chickens, you'll be caring for the gobbling turkeys instead. As before, you need to water the ground to grow grass, the turkeys will eat the grass and lay the eggs, and then you can collect those eggs and sell them in the market.

That's just the beginning. Taking the entrepreneurial spirit to the next level, you will have the opportunity to manage different kinds of livestock and invest in farm upgrades. For instance, one of the first machines that you will buy converts eggs into the more valuable egg powder. If you have played another Farm Frenzy game in the past, you'll feel right at home with American Pie.

Beware of the Bear

Most people assume that life on the farm is slow and idyllic, but that is anything but the case! It is riddled with all sorts of fast-paced challenges and hurdles that you'll need to overcome on a moment-to-moment basis. For instance, you have to be wary of predators.

At random points during the game, a bear or two may be dropped onto your farm, wreaking havoc on your flock. The giant beasts can kill a turkey with a single swipe, so you'll need to contain the threat as quickly as possible. Click repeatedly on the bear to capture it inside a cage. It will then be added to your inventory and, thus, can be sold at the market for a healthy profit.

You can also invest in a canine companion for this purpose. The dog will automatically go after the bear and rid you of the threat, but bear in mind that the dog will make the ultimate sacrifice in doing so. Fido will be missed.

Frantic Pace with Advanced Technology

A lot of what you'll see in American Pie will seem familiar. You are still following Scarlett on her farming journeys and the overall gameplay mechanic remains largely unchanged. That said, you do gain access to all new advancements in technology, 90 all-new levels, and more novel buildings and challenges to keep you occupied for hours on end. Just know that some of these machines can cost a pretty penny!
