Unlocking the Mystery

You've stumbled your way into a mysterious mansion and there is a page from a book that is speaking to you. The voice -- that of a character named Titus -- compels you to go further, trying to unlock the mysteries of this place, finding more pieces that may free Titus from his confinement. In order to do so, you'll have to solve a wide variety of puzzles that will challenge every skill and ability that you have. Only by solving them all will you learn more about Titus and his plight, and only then will you truly realize your destiny. Azada awaits you.

A Puzzle-Filled Adventure

Unlike other puzzle games that you may encounter, this is primary type of game that you will find within Azada. Instead, each new page that you discover will provide you with a new kind of adventure, a new type of challenge. For example, you may be given the task of finding two identical butterflies among a huge flock. The next page may challenge you to slide boards of varying sizes until one board in particular finds its way through a very narrow exit. Perhaps the most enjoyable kind of puzzle that I encountered while playing Azada was that which emulated the "point and click" genre of casual games.

With these, you are thrown into a room with no instructions in particular. It is largely through exploration, trial, and error that you will find out what to do in order to recover the next page in the book. You may need to look inside of a tool box in order to find a hammer, only to use that hammer to smash a vase, only to discover that there is a key inside of the vase. And so on. Through a very specific sequence, you will eventually unlock the page hidden within the stage, moving on and furthering your knowledge of Titus.

Pages to a Chapter, Chapters to a Book

The stages are presented to you as individual chapters and within each chapter are a series of puzzles represented by individual pages. Only after unlocking all of the pages can you attempt to solve the chapter. This could involve something like a jigsaw puzzle, providing an extra segment to a painting on the wall. But what does it all mean? That is exactly the intrigue that will drive you further into this incredibly deep and richly detailed storyline. You really feel like you're a part of something spectacular.

An Inquisitive Title

If you're a fan of mysteries or you need a huge amount of variety in your casual games, then Azada is most definitely the title for you. The tale is a great one and it is only revealed to you in small segments, spurring you on to discover more, to solve more puzzles, and ultimately discover the story of Azada and Titus.
