Perhaps you hear about a dog that seems to have an inherent ability to find lost objects. For many of these strange events, however, there are very legitimate and real explanations. Dr. Ignatius Lynch is a well-educated and well-respected individual who happens to specialize in this very field, getitng deployed to investigate the strangest of events. He's a skeptic, but he's able to back up his skepticism with scientific proof.
When a dig site is suddenly visited by an odd ghost-like figure, Dr. Lynch is called in to unearth the mystery and discover the source of this "ghost". With Grave Secrets, you will be given the opportunity to go through a full-fledged investigation, experiencing each and every step along the way. Talk to the people at the site and collect information. Search the site for viable clues that may lead you to a probable conclusion.

Collecting Clue Cards for More Information
With several investigations for you to enjoy, this title sends you to a myriad of different locations. When you arrive at each of these locations, you will be presented with an intriguing list of items that can be found within the scene. Some of these objects are larger than others. For example, you may seek out a portrait or a rake. Those are easier to spot. Alternatively, you may also find a set of keys as part of your list of items. Imagine looking for a single housekey among the mass confusion of a large dig site!
Some of these objects on your list are associated with clue cards. Read these clue cards carefully, because not only will they aid you in this thrilling adventure, but they may also further your investigation and take it to new areas. Collect these clue cards to progress through the story. For example, one of the clue cards reveals a small hole in the ground that was already there when the dig professionals arrived at the scene. What is the nature of this pre-existing depression? Is it an entrance?
Solving the Investigation though Mini-Games
Need a break from scanning the highly detailed environments in search of the hidden objects? While the visuals are absolutely stunning and the story will keep you captivated for hours, it's great that Grave Secrets offers a fair bit of variety as well in teh form of different mini-games. For example, you may find that after collecting a set of six keys, you will have to figure out how these keys fit into the appropriate slots, turned to the right angle to open a secret door. What will this door reveal?
Rewards and Punishments
Sometimes you just need a little help. That's where the hints come into play. Click on the appropriate button near the top-left corner of the screen to activate a hint. This will highlight the region on the screen where you will find one of the items on your list. Do exercise some caution when doing so, because your hints are quite limited. You can earn an extra one by fulfilling certain bonus tasks, but these are few and far between.
By the same accord, you are punished for clicking randomly. An excessive amount of random clicking results in a 30-second penalty on your timer. A little random clicking is tolerated, so use with discretion.
