I Made a Mistake and I Need You to Fix It

Archeology is a fascinating study and while most people assume that it would be safe to research ancient civilizations and the artifacts that their peoples may leave behind, this isn't always the case. When Laura Jones graduated with her degree, she managed to find a position as an assistant to Dr. William Adams, one of the world's best known and most renowned archaeologists. The professor's most recent discovery started out like any other, but then the strange amulet started to exert its power upon him. In his own words, "I made a mistake and I need you to fix it."

With that cryptic message, Dr. Adams hands over the strange amulet into the possession of Laura Jones, charging her with the task of keeping it safe. Unfortunately for Laura, the mysteries of the amulet immediately start to take effect on her, sending her into a trance and putting her skills to the test. The scary (and exciting) thing is... this is only the beginning.

A Recent Discovery

The amulet is of unknown origin, at least to Laura. She was unable to get further information from the professor before falling into that trance in the middle of the night. She later discovers that Dr. Adams has fallen into a coma and is unable to recover. It is now up to Laura to find out what is happening with the amulet and why the professor thought that it was so important that she take care of it for him. What did he mean by saying that he made a mistake?

In this terrific hidden objects game, you will go through a series of highly detailed, realistic, and animated scenes, seeking out clues and hints as to what the amulet is all about. Being told to "take care of this for me", Laura must unearth the mysteries of the amulet. Involvement of the Entire University?

It may have started with Dr. Adams, but it seems that his most recent discovery involves more than just his personal exploits. As you progress through this fascinating tale, you will discover that several people have intimate interest in the ancient artifact and the story that surrounds it. Through your investigation, you will come across other professors, the school librarian, and students with an invested interest in the amulet. The further along you go, the more it will seem like the entire university is involved in this tale in some way. What could a chemistry professor and the school jock have to do with an ancient amulet?

Quest on the Side

The core gameplay in this title is largely based on searching a series of dynamic scenes from all around the university campus, but there are also several mini-games that will challenge your skills along the way as well. Perhaps a photo has been destroyed and it is up to you to bring it back together. Even within the scenes themselves, you may have to go through a series of connected steps in order to achieve a single goal. The challenge and the variety of these mini-quests are simply astounding.
