This may be a part of the Little Shop series of games, but there is absolutely nothing "little" about this incredible quest. Embark on a journey that will hit up all four corners of the globe, taking you to all sorts of fascinating international destinations. Each location comes with its own spark of personality, giving you a taste into what it would be like to visit these places in real life.
Become a virtual tourist and arrive in the forests of the Madagascar, the frozen tundra of Antarctica, the busy nightlife of Hong Kong, the rich history of Venice, and the exotic umbrella drinks of Tahiti. This is truly a worldwide adventure and you'll have plenty to learn and explore along the way.
It Starts with Ten Objects, But...
As a game in the hidden objects genre, this offering will provide you with the familiar gameplay mechanic of finding items that are cleverly camouflaged into their environments. Get ready to look for everything from an apple to a zebra.
In order to clear each of the stages, you'll need to find a minimum of ten objects from your list. The names of five such items will be shown to you at any given time; when you find one, it is replaced with the next item on the list. Finding just ten objects provides you with a bronze star. But who wants just a bronze?
To achieve a silver star rating, you'll need to find a minimum of thirteen items. Going further, find a total of fifteen objects and get the gold star rating!
Bonus Items to Enhance Gameplay
In addition to the three free hints provided to you, this game enhances the way you play with several different upgrades and bonuses. Hidden amongst the sensory overload of each scene are several objects that can aid you in your search.
For instance, each stage will have three cameras. Find and click on one and it will give you a "flash peek" at some of the items on your list. They will stand out from the camera flash for the briefest of moments. The thermometer upgrade will let you know if you mouse pointer is "hot" or "cold" relative to the location of your items. Do you need more hints? Find the hidden question marks.
Since you are racing against the clock for each and every destination that you visit along the way, these helpful bonus upgrades will certainly come in handy. More bonuses will reveal themselves as the game progresses as well, including overstuffed briefcases, exclamation marks and more.
An Adventure Out of this World
With fantastic animated imagery, terrific international destinations, and creative bonus powerup items, this game really is out of this world. Even going beyond the main stages, there are some great minigames that are truly innovative. Literally grab the side of a drawer and "shake" it to uncover items that are buried under the other clutter.
Travel the world, take in the sights and sounds, and collect some great souvenirs along the way... even if they are scissors, porcelain mugs, and unfamiliar animals.
