Mirror, Mirror on the Wall...

There's just something about mirrors that is inherently creepy. When you gaze into that reflective glass, it's almost as if you are gazing straight into your very soul. Alternatively, it's almost like a window into another world altogether, as if there is a parallel universe out there looking right back at you. With that incredibly abundant fear, you find yourself in one of the scariest situations that a parent can find him or herself.

Stopping for a quiet family picnic, a mother and her children thought that they were perfectly safe. However, as the mom gazed out into the sunlight, she hears a crash and a scream coming from inside an old house. Upon entering, she learns that her children have now been captured and they are being held captive inside a mirror world. It is up to you to save them.

We've seen talking mirrors before, perhaps commenting on who is the fairest of them all, but this mirror has a vengeful and angry slant to it. You must now see to its every wish if you want to see your children alive again.

While it may seem like there is an alternate universe out there can be seen from beyond the mirror, this utterly creative game posits that there is more than one. In fact, over the course of this thrilling adventure, you'll have the opportunity to visit no fewer than seven whimsical and magical lands, each more unique than the one that preceded it.

As you arrive at each of these lands, you'll gain access to a series of rooms and a myriad of interesting objects to discover. For each land, you'll need to fulfill a series of special requests for those who inhabit the mystical land. In doing so, you can move one step closer to saving your children.

Getting Caught Up in the Details

Be prepared to take out a keen eye, because the environments you engage will be beautifully detailed and intricately complex. The smallest of details could be the greatest of discoveries and you will need to look through every nook and cranny to find everything you need.

Rather than take on a comical or cartoon-like appearance, these stages are almost photo-realistic. With great lighting effects, fantastic textures, and a variety of items, you'll be amazed at every turn.

Adding to the clever design of the game, you will be given the task of combining several items in different ways, placing them in special locations to complete your objectives. Thankfully, your hovering mouse can guide you in the right direction.

Seven Years Bad Luck

You know the old adage that says you shouldn't break any mirrors lest you want to endure seven years of bad luck? That's how this tale begins, because those roaming children went and broke mirrors in the mysterious home. If they had not done that, the evil mirror of the house would not have trapped them as it did.

That's a lesson learned! Now, you must complete the tasks as requested of you, retrieve those broken shards of glass, and place them back to where they belong. Your children are waiting for you.
