Fun and Stimulating

Any fan of Scrabble, Literati, or just about any word game will absolutely adore Text Twist! It's the perfect game to challenge your friends at, or if you just want to give your brain a workout, you won't find anything else nearly as rewarding or as much fun! There are plenty of word games out there, but I've never played anything as satisfying or downright challenging as this. I find it funny that of all the games on the market with fancy graphics and fast-paced action, nothing can compare to a good old-fashioned spelling game like this.

Your Very Own Game Show

Text Twist has a game show-like feel and look to it, which does wonders when it comes to immersing yourself in the experience. The premise is also something you're likely to see on something on the Game Show Network. You're given an assortment of letters (either 6 or 7, depending on what you choose in the options menu), and you must spell as many different words as you can. If the word is in the game's dictionary, it will then appear on the right (in preset boxes) with a dictionary symbol next to it. If you can't think of any words to spell, you can hit the twist button, which will randomly rearrange the letters, giving you a new perspective and hopefully sparking some of that hidden genius when know you got buried inside. To try different combinations, you can either click the letters with mouse or use the keyboard, hitting the enter button (on the keyboard or the interface) to try that combination.

The game offers two different game modes for you to select: Puzzle, which isn't timed, and Action, which is timed.

In puzzle mode, you can take all the time you need, with ultimate goal being to decipher every possible word out of your combination of letters. This can be very challenging, but very rewarding for the player who sticks it out and gets them all. This is the perfect mode for someone looking for a relaxing yet stimulating way to pass the time. Action mode, on the other hand, is good for someone who is looking for a challenging, fast-paced, and completely stressful spelling session. Your brain is likely to go into overdrive in this mode, so you better be prepared. Each round gives you two minutes to find as many correct combinations as you can. You must spell at least one word using all of the letters in order to go onto the next round. Find every possible letter combination to receive bonus points.

It's probably safe to say that most people like word games. Games like scrabble have been popular for ages, and there has to be a reason behind it. Text Twist is sure to satisfy anyone with a craving for a game like that. It takes a simple premise and pumps up the fun factor 10-fold, making it a must have. If nothing else, it's the only word game that will make you sweat.
